Todd Rhymer - Pastor

 

Todd and wife Rachel were married on Friday, November 24th, 1995 at Bethlehem Baptist Church just outside of Rochester, Indiana. They both heard the call of the Lord at the funeral of Rachel's grandfather on Wednesday, February 26th, 1996.

 

Rachel's uncle, Pastor and Evangelist Leonard Jackson, preached a message of salvation that awakened the young couple to the need for Jesus. They were both baptized in the summer of 1996. Under the leadership and teaching of Pastor Mark Kline, the two developed a burning desire for the lost. Todd and Rachel have been ministers of the gospel of Jesus Christ ever since, using both their God-given talents and strengths to see the lost saved. 

 

Led by the Holy Ghost, together with Mark & Jennifer Kline, Gary & Cindy Clingler and Scott & Mary Pinkowski, they formed Solid Rock Church in 2003. Pastor Todd was originally the Music Pastor and continues to function in that capacity. Together, Todd and Rachel developed and continue to serve through the audio and video ministries at the Church. 

 

Pastor Todd was called to the pulpit and ordained to preach in 2012. As Pastor of Solid Rock, Todd strives to: preach, teach, council and care for the congregration. Dedication to the Lord and the Church has been the main part of the Rhymers' life, along with their children and two beautiful granddaughters.
