-Founding board member of Solid Rock Church, Active in all facets of ministry from Sunday school to video editing, Born again for more than 20 years, Married to Mary for more than 20 years, Possesses the ministry gifts and callings of pastoring, teaching and evangelism.

Pastor Todd Rhymer
-Founding board member and current president/treasurer of Solid Rock Church, Founder and leader of both the music and audio/video ministry, Born again for more than 18 years, Married to Rachel for more than 20 years, Possesses the ministry gifts and callings of prophecy, pastoring, teaching, music, and administration.

What type of Church is Solid Rock Church in Rochester, Indiana? Solid Rock is a Church that preaches a traditional old time Gospel without the old time religious hang ups. Solid Rock is a Church that is more concerned with the plight of the lost than pleasing people. At Solid Rock you will find a challenging message and real worship all in an atmosphere in which it is easy to find God. Dress is casual with tolerance for those who wish to dress up. Hypocrisy is not tolerated. We are not looking to make people like us we are trying to help people be like Jesus. Welcome to the “original” Solid Rock Church. Come worship the living God with us this Sunday!

We affirm and defend these essential beliefs.

1- JESUS’ DIVINITY- Jesus was, is and will always be God

(John 1:1; John 20:28; Hebrews 1:8-9, 1 John 5:7)  Please note clearly, we teach and affirm the doctrine of the trinity.

2- BIBLICAL INSPIRATION AND PRESERVATION- The Bible was perfectly communicated and has been perfectly preserved for every generation

(Psalms 12:6-7; Romans 15:4; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20).

3- THE VIRGIN BIRTH- Jesus’ mother Mary was a virgin and carried Jesus to term a Virgin still

(Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:27) 

4- JESUS VICARIOUS DEATH AND ATONING BLOOD- Without the shedding of Jesus’ blood there is no forgiveness of sin

(Acts 20:28; Romans 3:25, 5:9; Ephesians 1:7; Hebrews 9:12-14; Revelation 1:5).

5- THE RESURRECTION- Jesus was killed on the cross and came back to life three days later

A Short Church History

 The Solid Rock Church vision was given to our founding Pastor in 1999. It took three years and a series of miracles for the Church to start in the pastor’s living room in 2003. Started with 8 adults and 50 dollars the current church attendance is over 100 and the Church rents over 5000 feet of ministry space. 


PLEASE NOTE: To date Solid Rock Church in Rochester, Indiana has started no other Churches. Any one making such a claim is either deceived or a deceiver. Be aware of anyone making such a claim.
